Mr. Paritosh Upadhyay is an Indian Forest Service officer of Jharkhand cadre. He has vast experience of working with the community in Jharkhand while serving in various capacities in Forest and Rural development department. He has served as Divisional Forest Officer in Lohardagga, Seraikela-Kharsawan, West Singhbhum, Latehar and Ranchi districts. He was field director of Palamu Tiger reserve and had also served in Pollution Control Board.  He was also the Special Secretary, Rural Development Department, GOJ and CEO, Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society.  Presently, he is posted in forest department headquarters as Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF).

At ISEP, Paritosh seeks to work as mentor to local Civil Society Organizations of Jharkhand and guide them to produce relevant work that could be used by the government and the administrators to contribute towards the clean energy mission of the state.
