ISEP Welcomes Two Visiting Fellows

The Initiative for Sustainable Energy Policy (ISEP) at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) welcomes two visiting Fellows for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Aleksandra Conevska from McGill University will be a Fulbright Scholar. She will work with the ISEP team on energy access in rural India, with a particular focus on new data collected in the partnerships with Smart Power India and the Council on Energy, Environment and Water.

Nada Maamoun from University of Hamburg will be a pre-doctoral fellow. She will work on ISEP’s research on coal-fired power generation and air pollution. Her work will rely heavily on geospatial methods.

“Aleksandra and Nada are incredibly talented young scholars,” says the Founding Director of ISEP, Professor Johannes Urpelainen. “It is an honor and a privilege to work with and mentor these rising stars, and ISEP stands to benefit immensely from their contributions.”
