Anshuman Tiwari

Anshuman Tiwari is a PhD Candidate in Environmental Economics at the Department of Geography and Environment as well as at the Grantham Research Institute for Environment and Climate Change at the LSE. His research interests are related to the political economy of natural resource use and economic development in India. In particular, with ISEP, he is interested in understanding the political economy of the water-energy nexus in India.

Anshuman graduated with a Bachelor in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad and an MPP from Goldman School at UC Berkeley. Before pursuing a PhD, he worked at the World Bank on identifying vulnerable climate hotspots in South Asia, and as an adviser to the Deputy Chief Minister of the state government of Delhi, India.
