STUDENT FELLOWS

Jai is a final year engineering student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. He has a deep interest in studying the impact and feasibility of renewable energy in the on grid and off grid distribution segment. Prior to ISEP, Jai has had the opportunity to work at renowned research organizations such as The Council of Energy, Environment and Water and The Centre for Social and Economic Progress.

His research focuses on the inclusion of techno-economic and socio-economic methodologies that aim to highlight the importance of energy transition. He has worked in a large spectrum of research endeavors that pertain to topics like wind energy, energy access and global energy policy.

As ISEP, Jai seeks to contribute to a study that helps determine the impact and pathway of implementing distributed renewable energy sources in the Indian state of Jharkhand.
